If there is one thing pregnancy taught me, it’s patience. Here is the thing about a post-partum body: you have to give it time to put itself back together. Of course, I knew that I couldn’t fit into my pre-pregnancy size jeans for a while because that first baby weight gain is REAL so after about 6 weeks straight of wearing post-partum leggings, I was ready for some denim. I didn’t even wear belts much before but here I was wax-poetically about them to my husband. Who knew I could miss such small details in life? I missed tucking, I missed belts. I didn’t even care what size they were I wanted to wear real jeans with a zipper and a button. I was so sick of maternity anything and I just wanted to see my waist again. I was convinced that I’d never see real pants again. It was a dream I had at 41 million weeks pregnant. Have a seat, let me get you a coffee and let’s talk denim.įor me, I could not wait to get back into a pair of real jeans. If you like long-winded bloggers like me, then…hello there. It’s targeted towards dry and dehydrated skin and claims to leave skin “thoroughly clean, comfortable, hydrated, and glowing.” Tall claims!Īlong with blue tansy oil, it has vanilla, tangerine, sweet orange, and chamomile oil and moringa and cocoa butter. The balm can be used as a first cleanser (to dissolve makeup and sunscreen) and as a hydrating mask. At $50 for 3.4 oz./100 g, it’s a splurge to be sure. Its deep aqua color and ingredient-of-the-moment blue tansy made it eminently Instagrammable. Sunday Riley Blue Moon Tranquility Cleansing Balm made a splash as soon as it arrived. It wasn’t a huge deal and was only on the outside…but whuh? Did they test the product for me? Kekeke.Ĭontinue reading “Kicho Kicho ya ya dada – Kicho Natural Mineral Water Foaming Cleanser” I don’t know what the eff the mail room guys did but there was some…ummm…leakage on the package.
